Using AP Exchange |

This page allows you to specify your user profile details and news interests.

Settings:

First Name/Last Name |
Enter your first and last names. |
|
Email (User Name) |
Enter your e-mail address, which becomes your new AP Exchange user name. |
|
Phone/Fax |
Enter your telephone and fax numbers. If you have a telephone extension, enter it in the Ext box. |
|
Job Function |
Enter your job function/title. |
|
Years in Job |
(Optional) Enter how many years you worked at this job. |
|
Date Format |
Select how you would like AP Exchange to represent the date and time (Western, European, Default=Western). |
|
Time Zone |
Select your local time zone; AP Exchange will use this selection to interpret time for your location. |
|
News section of interest |
Select all news categories that interest you. |
This page allows you to change your AP Exchange password.

Setting:

New Password / Confirm Password |
Enter the new AP Exchange password (5-12 characters). Enter it again into the Confirm Password box. |
This page allows you to customize the AP Exchange home page.

Settings:

Number of Items Displayed |
Select the default number of news items per page (5, 10, 20 or 30) to display in each media pane. If needed, click <<previous and more>> in the media pane to page through items. |

Fields Displayed |
Select the metadata fields to display in the media panes. The available metadata is based on the media type. Note: The Advance/HFR Note option (Hold for Release notes) is not available to all customers. |

Select how long ago the displayed news was posted (1 Day, 3 Days, 1 Week, 2 Weeks or Max=(30 days for text / 3 days for audio / 2 weeks for other media). |

Select how often AP Exchange updates the media panes with the latest news (1 minute, 3 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes) or select Manually to manually refresh the media panes. |
This page allows you to specify your default file formats for bulk downloading. Select your preferred option for each media type.

Note: Clean Text vs. Plain Text - Plain text (.TXT) files include line spacing between paragraphs. Clean text (.TXT) files remove the line spacing between paragraphs. |
