AP Exchange provides:

  • An easy-to-use, Web-based user interface
  • "Story-centric" displays of stories, photos, graphics and videos (depending on your customer entitlements) that are all related to the same event and viewable from a single home page
  • The ability to:
    • Create, save and manage search capabilities to find the news that you want quickly and easily.
    • Store your favorite news items in watch lists for future use.
    • Download, print or e-mail content.
    • (If enabled) Edit story content.
    • View all revisions of a story.
    • (For participating AP Newspaper customers only) Submit and view content from other AP members.
    • (For customers who also subscribe to AP Custom News) Upload supplemental documents for Custom News content definitions.
    • View showcases, or news topics that contain hand-picked stories deemed interesting or relevant by your local Bureau Chiefs.
    • (For certain customers) Drag stories from AP Exchange into CCI NewsGate (for WebFeed delivery) or ENPS (to create content-rich news packages).
    • Enable e-mail notifications for saved searches and News Bulletins.
