AP Exchange is a Web-based service that enables you to search and scan the AP report. As you do so, you may require support or have questions. We hope this page will help direct you to the support that you need.

  • User's Guide– Comprehensive online resource containing all feature overviews, screen descriptions and procedures

  • The Marketplace– A feature that allows participating Newspaper members to freely share their content with other members. Members can contribute and manage their news, as well as view and download contributed news in the same manner as they can with AP news. To submit an entire news feed, members can select to auto publish their content. For access to the top viewed content and more from your state, members can view their state's Community Page. Bureau Chiefs are responsible for managing their state's Community Page.

  Lists of codes and terms that can be used in a search query:

  • AP Subject Category Values (XLS, 94 KB) – Lists all of the subject categories for each main subject heading in alphabetical order

AP Graphics Font Files

The font within these compressed files is used in our AP Graphics files. Use this font when incorporating our graphics into your publications. To use the font:

For Windows Users (ITCFranklinGothicCdDM_Win.zip, 69 KB):

1. Click the link above (or right-click the link and select Save Target As...) to save the zipped file to your local machine.

2. Use the WinZip software (or the built-in Windows compression utility) to unzip the compressed file.

3. Install the fonts to your font directory using the Control Panel's Font utility.

For MacIntosh Users (FranklinGothicCndDemi_Mac.sit, 80 KB):

1. Click the link above and save the file to your local machine.

2. Use the StuffIt software to expand the compressed file in the Desktop.

3. Double-click the uncompressed folder.

4. Perform ONE of the following actions:

Option 1: Double-click the font files within the Postscript Type 1 and TrueType folders to install them.

Option 2: Drag the font files to the Font folder. Double-click and install them.
