A watch list is a placeholder for stories and other media items that you deemed worthy for quick accessing in the future. Watch lists can be used to create line-ups (for AP Newspaper customers), track stories, set-aside items for future use or to build a small library of photos to compare. You can create as many watch lists as you need. Stories that are added to watch lists are automatically updated to include the latest story revision (writethru). The items in your watch lists will remain there until either you delete them or they have expired and moved to the archive (the content is greater than two weeks old). Once an item has expired, its slug and/or thumbnail become unavailable (read-only) in the watch list for a short while before it is completely removed from the list. The Watch List pane allows you to view and manage your watch list items. You can also view additional information and perform other watch list tasks from the Watch List Management page. |

Note: You cannot update watch lists that have been shared to you. So, the Rename link does not appear if the currently displayed watch list is shared. For more information about sharing watch lists, see Sharing/Unsharing a Watch List. |
