
Instead of using the Contribution Story page to submit individual stories to the Marketplace, you can automatically submit the many stories from your news feed to the Digital Cooperative for content enrichment and Marketplace publishing. The Auto Publish page allows you to set restrictions for your feed content that you publish to your Group, State or National Marketplace. Once submitted and processed, your content is available for viewing by participating Marketplace members via the Marketplace portlet and access to you via the Published tab on the Contribution Lineup page.
To set up automatic Marketplace publishing:
Click Manage
in the Navigation bar; then click Auto
Publish under the Marketplace heading at left.
Result: The Auto Publish page
appears.

Select the publishing status of the feed's content:
Active.
Content appears in the Published
tab of the Contribution Lineup page
WITH the
icon beside it, indicating that it is Marketplace content. This
content can be accessed via either the Marketplace
portlet or a search query.
Inactive.
Content appears in the Published
tab of the Contribution Lineup
page WITHOUT the
icon beside it, indicating that it this content has
not yet been submitted to Marketplace for member access. To publish inactive
feed content, refile
it.
Specify all appropriate form boxes. The form is divided into four logical steps:
Step 1: Publishing Distribution
Select one or more distribution options.

Publish nationally |
The news item is available to Marketplace users in all 50 states. The content appears under "National Marketplace" in the Marketplace portlet. |

Publish to my state |
Restricts the news item's availability to Marketplace users within your state. The content appears under "State Marketplace" in the Marketplace portlet. |

Publish to my group |
(Where enabled) Restricts the news item's availability to Marketplace users within your group (newspaper consortium). The content appears under "My Group" in the Marketplace portlet. |
Although we hope that you share your content broadly, you can also specify content restrictions. Restrict access to news organizations within your state that should not access your content.
