The Marketplace is an AP Exchange feature that allows AP members to freely share news content with other AP members in your group, state or nationwide. As a Marketplace participant, you can contribute your organization's content and search, view and download Marketplace content from other organizations in the same manner as you would AP content. In addition, you can set e-mail notifications for Marketplace content from saved searches and deliver Marketplace content via WebFeeds using the Advanced Search page. Currently, the Marketplace only allows you to share text, photo or graphic content. Marketplace content is accessible from the Marketplace portlet at left for up to one year. |
The source (story originator) of all Marketplace content is indicated beside the item's slug. At a minimum, AP Exchange displays the newspaper's name and state.

Embargoed content entering the Marketplace via Member feeds is not searchable via AP Exchange until the embargo date has expired.
