feed for a search

next to the saved search. The Edit

Search page) appears.
Enable AP
WebFeeds; then click Save
Search.

When you enable syndication feed capabilities
for a saved search, the Feeds icon appears
next to the search name along with its saved search ID.

Receive the
latest news from a syndication feed via a feed browser/reader
(If enabled) |
(Can
only be performed if your account is authorized to receive syndication
feeds.)
Click
associated with the saved search. The syndication feed details
appear in a separate Web browser window.

Copy the browser's URL address and use
this address to create a new feed in your syndication feed reader
application.

Complete the new feed setup as per your
reader's instructions.

Send feeds
to your editorial system

Option
1: Click next
to the saved search; then copy the AP WebFeeds URL into your news
system’s feed ingest software. Refer to your AP
WebFeeds Developer’s Guide.
Option
2: Access the feeds using your AP WebFeed Manager. Refer
to your AP WebFeed Manager Administrator’s
Guide.

Share/unshare
a saved search |
Click next to
the saved search. A list of users within your organization appears.

Select/deselect either all users or specific
names; then click Share.
The Shared check box beside
the saved search is enabled for shared searches and disabled for
unshared searches.
A search that has been shared to you can
be seen from both the:

number of searches to display on this page |
Select the number of items (5, 10. 20,
30, 40,
50 or 100)
from the Page size menu.
You can set the page size for both the searches you created and
the searches shared to you by your colleagues.
