What Can You Do With Your Watch Lists?

You can perform a variety of watch list actions from the Watch List Management page. To learn more about each action, click any of the labeled screen areas from the following image.

For Bureau Chiefs

For all other AP Exchange users

Create a watch list/showcase

Click Create New.

For Bureau Chiefs: To designate the watch list as a showcase, select the Publish option and specify an Activate (start)/Deactivate (end) date.

Edit a watch list

Click beside the watch list.

Select a watch list

Enable its associated check box.

To select all check boxes, enable the Select All check box.

Copy a watch list

Option 1: Click beside the watch list. This option allows you to edit the watch list before saving it.

Option 2: Select the desired watch list; then click Copy. This option automatically copies the watch list and prefixes the watch list name with "Copy of ..." or "Copy (X) of ...," where X is 2, 3, etc., depending on how many times you copy the watch list.

Delete a watch list

Option 1: Click beside the watch list.

Option 2: Select the desired watch list. Then, click Delete.

View the watch list contents

Click the watch list title. The contents appear at top.

Share/unshare a watch list

Click next to the watch list. A list of users within your organization appears.

Select or deselect either the check boxes of individual users or the Share/unshare for all users... check box to select or deselect all users; then click Share.

Shared watch lists are indicated on the Watch List Management page by the selected Shared option.

Set a watch list as your default watch list

Click the Default option button associated with the watch list. You can only select one default search.

Sort the watch list table

Click the heading by which you want to sort the table.

Click the heading once to sort the table by that heading in alphabetical, numerical or date ascending order (A to Z, oldest to newest), indicated by the icon next to the heading title.

Click the heading again to sort the table by the heading in descending order (Z to A, newest to oldest), indicated by the icon next to the heading title.

Change the order in which watch lists appear in the Watch Line pane

Display all watch lists on one page; then select the desired order (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) from the Order menu.

The order changes for the selected watch lists automatically.

Change the number of searches to display on this page

Select the number of items (5, 10. 20, 30, 40, 50 or 100) from the Page size menu. You can set the page size for both the searches you created and the searches shared to you by your colleagues.

Page through your results

Click one of the page navigation buttons or select a page number from the Page menu.

For Bureau Chiefs only: Designate an existing watch list as a showcase

Click Edit. Select the Published option; then specify an Activate (start)/Deactivate (end) date.

Showcases are indicated on the Watch List Management page by the selected Published option.

Cancel most watch list actions

Click Cancel or in the top right corner of the pop-up section.
